FDNA’s collaborative work with global experts in street design and urban development has resulted in 2019’s Make Way for Lower Manhattan study. Here are some of the highlights of a decade of community engagement for safe and clean streets, resulting in the report.
Construction Noise and Scaffolding
FDNA advocates for better conditions related to the many construction sites around our neighborhood. We all benefit from the growth and prosperity associated with Lower Manhattan’s growth and success, but when neighbors suffer disproportionately from new construction or decades old scaffolding, strong voices must be raised to protect our quality of life.
